Huff, puff, and ....

So, here I am again. Other that AIM screwing up and the fuss brewing over in DM, things are pretty good. ::knocks wood::

You know, I tend to post my RP rants out of public view and so only the RPers can read them because, let's be honest, generally only the RPers "get it." It's much like the doll collectors get the doll things, the music friends get the music things and so on. If it's not your "thing," then it's not your thing.

Today, however, I'm going to make an exception on this subject for a brief grumbling session. Many of the RPers or former RPers know what the RDI is and probably know what Dragon's Mark is. I've been playing at DM about once a week. Flashchat can get hard on my brain, but for a couple of hours a week, it's tolerable and most of the people have been fine. My gripe is NOT with those playing, it's with people that think they need to play net nanny and censor things that aren't even on that site.

This is simple, this is straight forward, if you don't own LJ and I'm posting within the TOS/TOU then you have no right to be telling me what I can and cannot be venting about. Who the hell are you to be getting on your high horse and telling people don't post rants about me in your blog? The rules are simple. Don't piss me off, don't hurt my feelings and I won't be noticing you long enough TO be ranting about you. Stop trying to play mommy to people that are adults and don't need their hands held to have issues solved. Let the admins do their jobs.

Just because you don't see my name on a lot of posts does not mean I'm the newb you seem to think I am. Don't make me introduce myself in the form of "this is who I used to be and I probably still remember where the proverbial bodies are buried." I don't like doing that, it irks me when other people do it. It amuses me, however, when other people say... "Uh... do you have any idea who you're talking to and that she is known for having a tongue that could cut you to ribbons? Don't set her off."

I have to wonder about people that refer others to people's blogs going.. "Did you see what X said about you?" I think the person doing the pointing out bears responsibility for their pal's hurt, too. Or worse yet, the trusted friends that reveal the contents of locked posts to those people.

There you have it, out in the open for any registered LJ user, save two that have been banned, to reply to.
