Umm yeah... so... more random insanity.... I call it life...

Dumb Things I Gotta Do Today
Laundry
Food - Meatballs and pasta Went out
Kitchen clean up (after dinner) Went out
Crafts: finish Liz's basket and get it ready to mail out
To still be done tomorrow
Entertainment: Read part of library book

I wonder if there's a Sim's Anonymous? I'm addicted... having fun.. but my household is not suffering because of this addiction. Makin' Magic is a lot of fun to play! I didn't get the Superstar expansion, but maybe I should... heh... that would be something for Christmas, I suppose, but I'd get more use out of a scanner I can use with my current computer. I know my son wouldn't mind that.. since it would mean he'd be getting my old one.

I am looking forward to Sims2 which makes its appearance in either Feb or March. I play few games anymore that keep my attention. Sims is always different.

[livejournal.com profile] magicwoman posted this link The Muses. It's a neat little site. Clio, the muse of history, apparently speaks to me a great deal. I often read books of a historic nature and feel the need to track the history of my family. I'm not sure which of the Muses that tend to writing speak to me. The history one tends to poke at me from time to time hinting at things.

Despite my slumps where anything resembling serious writing is concerned, I'm enjoying RP more than usual lately. Not enough hours in the day to do everything I really would like to.

Some guy called for my husband. He's a couple weeks too late to offer Kevin a job. He likes where he is and the pay is about double what he made at the last job. It's the same guy that treated him like dirt when he wanted to hire him before.... so... I will tell Kevin the guy called, but since he got the job he wanted already, I told the guy that I'd tell Kevin he called but that he already had another position. His contracted ended at the other place. He's working on Fort Hood, quicker trip to work, about 1 1/2 times more pay than this guy was willing to offer. I think he made the better choice...

This weekend, I need to clean up my desk again... and dust up the bookcases.

My husband remarked on it being a while since I added dolls to my collection... I think I am pickier about them these days, but I wouldn't mind this one Princess of Ireland or this set Barbie and Ken as Arwen and Aragorn in The Lord of the Rings

My daughter has picked two very cool dolls as gifts for me in the last couple of years. This one, Lucille Ball as Lucy Ricardo in Job Switching and this one, Marzipan

Jessica is a fan of Margaret Mitchell's book, Gone With the Wind... so... one year... this was her Christmas gift, Scarlet at Twelve Oaks. Always wanted to get Dorothy of Wizard of Oz for Liz, but when I asked... she said no... so.... I got her a Lion King music box the year Jess got her doll. It's a pretty little thing, but I can't seem to find a picture on the web. It features Simba and Nala as adults and plays Can You Feel the Love Tonight.
