Mister Rogers dies of cancer at 74 Edit: Possible dead link, is this irony or what?
Mr. Rogers was a new show when I was a kid. Yeah, that dates me, I don't care. I think the world is going to be missing one of the few people children could look to for answers and parents could look to to find out how to get through to their kids. He really cared about people.

"We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility," he said in 1994. "It's easy to say 'It's not my child, not my community, not my world, not my problem.'
"Then there are those who see the need and respond. I consider those people my heroes."
Heroes are often ordinary people that do extraordinary things.
