Daily Doings And Other Events (backdated)
Sep. 30th, 2004 09:24 pmI've been trying to write more meaningful entries lately, but sometimes they end up as daily doings lists.
When I rattle on or rant about certain things, I often get vehement about my opinions and can just hear, "Gee, tell us how you really feel, why don't ya," in the back of my mind. Funny how that is. It's like asking someone, "how are you?" Most people are asking to be polite and don't really give a rat's ass the other person really feels. This is why to some people I will just say, "fine," and leave it alone.
A conversation with a friend regarding historical landmarks got me to thinking about how many cool places I have been to over the years. That's a book in itself.
Kevin brought home chicken for dinner. Yay, less cooking and it means I can make the meatloaf for Friday's dinner.
My muse has been quiet for a bit. I think this weekend I need to kick a few things into gear. I'm doing the laundry, dishes, and cooking again. It's a start back to normalcy. It was a year before I could drive again after the car accident. I'm hoping it won't be that long again.
