Things and More Things

A joint endeavor between you and a partner, romantic or business, could lead to imaginative and creative opportunities. You should be feeling highly energized and ready to take on just about anything, so whatever you start today, especially creative projects, are likely to succeed in spite of any obstacles that may present themselves. Relations with partners and with other people in general should be recharged by the day's activities, CATHY, so go for it.
Why does that scare me?
I'm not feeling so great, today. Not going into the whys. You know it's hot when all Shottie wants to do is sit under the ceiling fan or just sleep in his place near my desk. I think it's time for another trip down to see Dean at the groomer's. They do such a beautiful job on him. I can sit, thanks to my Garden Hopper gadget and brush him out some, but let's face it, some animals are best handed over to professionals or people that can squat and/or bend over.
New neighbors moved in behind us. They have a black poodle or poodle mix. Cute little thing. Shottie and the new arrival did the usual sniff and bark thing through the fence. Told my new neighbor that Shottie usually doesn't have problems with other dogs, it's people he has problems with. Probably not the best way to start a relationship with my neighbor, but ... it's true. He's picky about what people he likes. Probably a good thing. He's a good watchdog. Unless it's Liz and her family, no one that doesn't live here comes in without an escort.
I have several WIP (Works In Progress) for cross-stitch and other crafts. Magical Night is one of them. I think I have 1/4 of the thing done and it's been sitting about for ages. I also have a wedding sampler that I never finished. Oy.
The stitchers among my friends might get a kick out of this, Theresa Wentzler's blog.
Kevin and I have discussed getting one of those swings with a canopy after he gets his building finished. I think it would be nice to sit outside and stitch or what not. Except for December to mid-March, it's warm enough to do just that.
