What Time Is It Anyway?
Aug. 24th, 2007 03:31 amBagging and tagging up to July 1 2004 is done.
Every time I sat down to write something for LJ on Thursday, I got distracted. It happens.
To Do List For Friday
UHBS
I need to go to the tax office and reregister the Explorer. Next month it gets inspected.
Print more favor tags.
Get the boxes ready to be mailed out on Monday or Tuesday.
Need to pick up a few things today:
Sweets for the other half.
Might snag fixings for Tom to make pizza.
Stamps to send to Liz for the rest of the stuff that need to be mailed from her place.
Foam peanuts to finish Liz's packages. I thought I had some in the garage, but they seem to be gone.
Buy lottery tickets. Mega Million is at 201 million, people!
Before I went over to Wal-mart, I had Tom empty the trunk of the sand and other items we had in there. I'm hoping the combo of black and red lava rock will be ok. They had no more at the PX. While he was unloading, he was being dive bombed by two pair of dragonflies. It was amusing to say the least!
I still have a Travis McGee book to finish. I think I'll do that this weekend so I can get moving on either the last in the Bitterbynde or the second in the Outlander series. I have all these books piled up that are just sitting here. I suppose I should get an eye exam and proper glasses instead of the readers. That's not the real problem, they seem to get dirty easily and that causes problems.
I'm tired, but I have a lot on my mind. Current audio book is Coffin Dancer by Jeffrey Deaver. Joe Mantegna is the reader. I like how he reads Spenser, so at least the voice isn't going to put me into Snooze Land.
Need to start my newest craft project this week. Hell, I need to start using more of the craft supplies that I have. They keep piling up!
