Adventures in Cleaning

yellowrosetxTom is on spring break this week.
We went up into the attic to search for a few things. Liz requested her old books and they are all stored up there. I'm talking books of the Little Golden variety. There's also a collection of Berenstain Bear books up there; several are hers.
Last time we cleaned out the attic, we cleaned it. Took everything out and checked all boxes. I can't get to the other side of the attic anymore; I can't bend enough to get over there. Boxes belonging to Jessica, the slate bottom aquarium, boxes of comics, My Little Ponies, kid books and an old typewriter are what's there.
In the part of the attic that's easier to get to:
Christmas and other holiday decorations
my camping backpack
an old double, I think, bed frame
a bed frame for a twin bed
more boxes of books, comics and game stuff
Barbie stuff
Chrisy and My Pretty Ballerina in a box
Odd and ends in one box
Some curtains
Aquarium stand
It's a lot smaller pile than what used to be up there. When Tom and I cleaned it out like 2 springs ago, I had two bags of trash to dump and at least four for Goodwill.
I feel blecky... I'm going to go jump into the tub and soak, I think.. maybe just shower. It's a wonder what soap and what will do for the spirit. Not much to do today... Need to run a load of clothes and switch out the dishes. Making perogies for supper. Considering sausage to go along with them.
My little purge the other day got a great deal of things off my mind. Dishes switched out... going to get the washer set up to run and hit the shower.. Later people!
