Here I go again... Thoughts have been rolling about in my head with a vengeance of late. Seems the Muse is trying to get some message through, but presently, it seems disjointed. Even disjointed thoughts have relevance though. It's like trying to make sense of a puzzle with a couple of crucial pieces missing.

To paraphrase Remington Steele, played by Pierce Brosnan, "I'm a woman that enjoys impossible challenges." Ah, yes.. the memories that brings up. The last season would never have been on if fans didn't send in tons of letters. I still think it sucked that NBC wouldn't allow Brosnan to do the Bond thing when it was first offered to him, but hey... at least he didn't end up like Timothy Dalton. IMO, Mr. Dalton was skunked. A politically correct Bond?? Who were they kidding?

I still think Sean Connery is the best Bond of all time; Pierce Brosnan runs a solid second. Sir Sean's got a style that Roger Moore could never match. Not to mention that Devil may care attitude. Moore was always too much of a clothes horse for me. It was like he was afraid to get dirty. My husband is a fan of the books by Ian Fleming. He says that Connery is the best match for the Bond in the books.

Oh, and I like Doris Roberts as Mildred Krebes. She's funny as hell as Marie in Everybody Loves Raymond. I have to wonder if living near my mother-in-law would be like that. Ooooohhh boy. Her bio says she was born on November 4, figures she's a Scorpio. ;)
