Yesterday, I was saying that I should not have my windows hanging open in the end of November. Sure enough, that caught up with me! It was cold today and rained a bit ago. Big drops that smacked the window panes. My son came running out of his WoW stupor to ask if it was hail.
Tom is cooking dinner tonight and we are waiting until Kevin gets in from work to get to eating. Might say we are having a Texas style Thanksgiving as we are having some nice steaks on the grill. No point in cooking turkey when Kevin doesn't care for it and Tom and I are somewhat indifferent. At least we all like the grilled moo on a plate!
I have a lovely Archipelago candle burning. The scent finally trickle through my senses. It's called Enfleurage. The scent is a mix of French Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, and Rose. I'm fond of several of their scents, Stonehenge is my favorite; it's a lovely mix with bergamot.
So, Himself called about 8:30 to announce that he had already eaten and wasn't hungry. Someone brought them food at the gate. Ok, that annoyed me. We had waited on him to eat. So, Tom and I ate... then Himself gets home and as if anything is left! Oi!
3:48 AM
Listening to disc 1 of The Secret Life of Bees.
So, yes, I'm awake and bouncing off the walls. Making my list to get on over to Wal-mart for the sale in about an hour. Crazy, I know.
Once again, if you'd like to be on that holiday card list, please drop a comment with your address over here: http://yellowrosetx.livejournal.com/601319.html?mode=reply Comments are screened for your privacy.
My Christmas list currently has the following people on it: Kevin, Mom, Dad, Jessica, Liz, Tom, Gabe, Aaron, Vincent, Tyler, Logan, Chris, Ted, Lorraine, Jason, and Samantha.
For the younger grandchildren, I have a sort of tradition of buying a book, a toy, and some sort of clothing.
I have DVDs bought for my Dad because I know some things he likes in movies. Four more Elvis to add to his collection and a few others.
Liz and Chris got theirs when we were in GA for the wedding. She got Bath and Body Works. He got a rug with the Georgia Bulldogs logo.
For Jessica, I have small sized aromatherapy products from Bath and Body Works. I plan on a bit more for her.
There will be a set of professional wedding pictures to pass along to my parents and in-laws, Ted and Lorraine. My in-laws have said not to send gifts, but I try to send pictures in albums of some sort. Lorraine says pictures are always a hit with them. It's all good to me.
That leaves: Kevin, Mom, Jessica, Tom, Gabe, Aaron, Vincent, Tyler, Logan, Chris, Jason, and Samantha.
I'm working on that memory album for Samantha. Well, for her parents. Wal-mart has blanket sleepers on sale and since they live way up north she will need warm jammies! That still leaves 11 people.
My card list seems to get shorter every year.
