If you find stray replies to old entries, bear with me, I'm catching up.

I often wonder what happens to people when they just up and disappear from view. I mean ... recently an LJ friend nuked his LJ and I'm wondering... alive, ok, not ok?? What's up? Am I the only one that wonders these things?

I think I forgot to mention that we saw the Dark Knight a while back. I liked it. Unlike Jack Nicholson's portrayal of the Joker, which was a bit on the comedic side, Heath Ledger's interpretation is dark, that of a man gone mad. This ain't Adam West's campy Batman, kids, it's hard hitting and action packed!

Today, I think I'm finally back from that bout of sickness. My body is back to its version of normal. ::knocks wood:: I cleaned up the master suite and living room, did a pile of laundry still working on that, one in the dryer and one that needs to get there), cleaned out one car, and put the recyclables that I have ready to the curb for pick up. I should put a load of dishes in to run before midnight. I say midnight instead of bed because who knows what time that will be tonight. 9:43 PM, dishes loaded and running.)

Got Subway for dinner. The nice thing about getting a footlong for dinner is that we generally have the other half for lunch.

Tuesday, I need to attend to:
More laundry
Kitchen detail
Dinner (Pork in wine and garlic butter)

I think I'll save the office clean up, yardwork, and dog bathing for tomorrow or later.

When I went to pick up Subway, I took Kevin's car and the dog. Shottie has trouble getting in and out of the truck, but since the car is lower, he can ride in there. I took both sets of keys, left the AC running, and locked up. He was fine for the five minutes I took to run in and out. Seems to think he's the driver, but otherwise it was all good.

Around sunset, we had a lovely show out front. Those of you that appreciate nature would like this. Dragonflies, a dozen or so, were flitting about from yard to yard. They are much too fast for me to catch on camera, but it's things like that that make me stand in awe.

An other natural wonder, I have no idea where the bees are hiding out around here, but we have some! Every time I put a bag of soda cans out for recycling, they come poking about.

Not much else today, other than to say that as much as my son drives me bonkers over his cleaning techniques or lack there of, it seems I have been lucky in the offspring dept.

It's a shame that men think that they have to think that way.
