Your financial situation could be undergoing vast upheavals now in a positive direction, probably as the result of career advances. This process is likely to continue today, CATHY, as social events could put you in touch with valuable contacts. It might be a good idea to just listen to others today and not try to formulate ideas of your own, or make any final decision. Too much input could lead to mental overload and therefore lack of focus.
I tell you, I feel like Roseanne Rosannadanna or however that's spelled! It's always fracking something!
I have this on my list just about completed: Write at least two story pieces and work on converting a log. (Two sections of one story are posted and a piece of a smaller thing is also up. Last of log edit is still in progress. I tend to save my writing files to ye old fashion zip drive. But wouldn't you know it something is wrong with my computer and this practice is going to have to come to an end soon than I had hoped it would. I should be able to temporarily connect the old floppy drive to use the disk for the Western Digital Tools so I can revamp the hard drive and use mine instead of his as the boot drive.
It's either the CPU or motherboard that's gone stupid. We took a trip over to Wal-mart and I came back to find that my monitor, which is set to go to stand by after 15 or 20 minutes of being idle, still had a picture showing. AND the mouse wasn't responding. I tried rebooting, no go. I tried redirecting my video cable to the standard AGP card, no go. It turned on.. it lights up... but still doesn't boot. I tell the other half, he's like.. ugh take my old one and use that for now. It's ok, but it's not mine and his sound's screwed up. His BIOS doesn't like my hard drive for a boot drive, it's 250 GB and the one in the machine is 150, I think. I need to find out if I can partion the drive without screwing it up.
What's this all mean in the grand scheme of things? Ellifino if I'll be able to use fracking AIM/Trillian chat or Flashchat to RP for a while. I should be able to, but the Flashchat is prolly going to be a royal PITA. I can only tweak this critter so much and it's not too happy with me at the moment. I'm leaving it to defrag one hard drive while I sleep.
Any of you still running IDE based PCs that can use PCI hardware or IDE hard drives or am I the last to be looking to move away from this stuff? I think that the guy we got Kevin's computer from said there's a converter box of sorts to allow us to snag up the data off of those older drives and move them to new ones or just use them off the converter.
