Wasting the Day?
Dec. 13th, 2005 11:59 pmIt's 2:30 and I'm sitting on my butt. I have things I need to get done, like pack presents and put the transfers on the canvas for painting. They won't get out of here until Friday or Saturday as it is.
I had Alphabetical soup for lunch. One of my kids used to call it that.
One of those Hmmm moments the other day. I had some tea with chamomile in it. My oldest is allergic to chamomile, didn't know until she was in her teens. So, I drank tea the other night... my throat felt itchy and constricted. I'm not sure if it was the tea itself or the cold I think is coming on. I did some reading and it seems that people who are sensitive to ragweed might also be to chamomile. Ack... I'm sending tea out for some friends, I hope they are not allergic.

Going to get my bedroom and bath tidied up. Laundry needs folding and putting away.

Bedroom cleared, bathroom cleared, two loads of laundry tossed in. I need to drop off the dry cleaning before 7.

Going to date this post for Tues. 13, but it's after midnight.
I was supposed to go to the cleaners, but end up 20 minutes too late because I forgot my watch and got carried away in Wally World. However, on the good side, I finished the shopping for Gabe and Vincent as well as my mother. Sent a package to points north.
Need to take Tom to the eye doctors so while I'm out doing that I'll make sure to get to the PO again with the stuff I have ready to go for Mom and Dad as well as get to the cleaners. Also need to find out where to do the drop offs for Santa's Pals.
Been a weird day. I misread Springerles as Springer rules and popped on as pooped on... allllllllllllrighty then.

Jul. 27th, 2005 07:40 pmLast night, I did something I haven't in a while. I worked on crafts and not just scanned stuff.
Specifically, I worked on a fabric paint project. While only the original artist would notice I bungled the picture, somewhat, it's coming out ok. Thanks to CRS and not recalling two things, it will only look off to anyone that knows better.
Photocopies can often be used as is for iron-on on transfers, but not scans. Scans require the dang hot iron transfer pencil. Ooook, so what else did dumb ass me forget? I forget to reverse the original before printing to do the iron on. So when the transfer is done it looks off. Um... can we say head spaces and timing error on the part of the operator? Um... yup.
It's coming out rather well, all things considered. I just need to have patience and that's a sparse commodity on some days.
I'm hoping to get some sort of project done each week.
I'm going to rest for a while, dental appointments are draining.
