I finally finished The Undomestic Goddess. Frankly, if I had been the heroine, I would have sued the law firm and won. You'd have to read the story to get that, but all in all it was a good read. I now have "Remember Me?" by Sophie Kinsella running in the audio.

While on the usually weekend jaunt, I saw the third book in the Appaloosa trilogy, Brimstone was on the shelves. Going to wait on that, though. I still have a pile to look through.

I realized while running through some files that I REALLY need to do a back up to DVD because shit happens.

There's a lot to do around here and I'm just procrastinating. It's a holiday weekend.

Monday ... and what all do I need to do?? Lots of things, but I'm not going to accomplish anything, but reading, I think. This is not a bad thing!

Liz made my day! Her new phone does pictures and video! I now have two of my grandbabies on video! Some days, I love modern technology! :)

So ... it's Feb. 9th and I last wrote here when? The second? Well, I have been reading some and writing some fiction pieces. Been catching up with things around the house.

Tom has been working and now has a spiffy new computer. Thinking about taking the parts out of his old one and putting them into a newer case. Yes, yes, I know... I could have used Kevin's ancient case. But I turned it in over at the Goodwill. The only reason I want to keep this board, etc. is because it's the only remaining board in the house that I can put the ancient SCSI card in for the old scanner. The scanner still works, but not without its controller card. Now, all the computer hardware people are going.. "No brainer" and the non-hardware people are going... "What language is that?? What'd she say??"

The Sims 2 fans will be pleased to learn the the new expansion, Seasons, is due out at the end of Feb. YAY!!! So, I've been thinking about getting that along with Sim City 4 or whatever it is that I can use to create custom neighborhoods for Sims 2. Yes.. yes.. I've finally lost what little of my mind I still had left and want to attempt to do a Rhydin neighborhood. I found Elf ears for some of my characters. I want to know WTF were some people thinking when they made ears that are pretty much perpendicular to the Sim's head!! It looks like something out of Star Trek.

To the folks that tagged me for memes or sent me surveys, etc. I do apologize, but I've been a bit busy of late. So much to do and times a wasting.

So.. here's what I've been doing:

I have one audio book in progress, an Amelia Peabody, and am STILL working my way through The Lady of the Sorrows.

I've been cleaning house. Sort of.

I'm looking forward to March. It will be warm enough to be outside to get the flowers attended to and cool enough to not fry out there. By the time May ends it's too hot to do anything.

Two or three writing projects in progress.

A plastic canvas tote bag is my latest craft project. I have the short sides done, have the apples stitched into the long sides and need to cut the base.

Oh, yes, and I installed a new hard drive. I'm now running 250GB instead of 40. Much more space.

On my wants lists: Hair coloring, pedicure, dog grooming, etc. etc. Need to call Monday or stop by for the dog appointment. Have to make sure I don't schedule it for when Tom has his 9 days in a row of work. I'm going to wait until after we deal with the IRS to worry about getting my hair done.

On Saturday's TO DO list:  Clean the fridge, mop the kitchen floor and finish the laundry. If it's warm outside put those dang rocks under the Golden Showers rose bush and maybe pick up the garage some.
